The IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (IEEE CIS) Student Branch Chapter is established at PCCoE to promote learning, research, and innovation in the field of Computational Intelligence, including areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Neural Networks, and Evolutionary Computing. As a part of the global professional organization Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the chapter provides students with opportunities to participate in technical workshops, seminars, research activities, and industry interactions.
The main purpose of the chapter is to enhance students’ technical knowledge beyond the classroom, encourage research and innovation, and develop professional and leadership skills. It also helps students connect with experts, access IEEE resources, and stay updated with emerging technologies, thereby preparing them for successful careers in advanced computing and intelligent systems
